In non-collisional plasmas the magnetohydrodynamic turbulence may evolve in a different form than the one of fully collisional regime. In such plasmas, the Lorentz force dominates the Coulomb interactions between charged particles resulting in the anisotropy of thermal pressure which can become unstable. One of the consequences of such instabilities is the local amplification of magnetic field up to marginally stable values. In this presentation, I will talk about our recent studies on how such instabilities could explain the magnetization of Universe observed at high redshifts, given the non-collisional condition of intergalactic plasmas of the young Universe.
