Studying Star-forming Processes at Different Spatial Scales

Sergio Ariel Paron

IAFE- CONICET - UBA

The stars form in the molecular clouds, which are large structures of gas and dust distributed in the interstellar medium. The collapse of the matter that leads to the formation of stars can occur on a hierarchy of different spatial scales. Thus, to comprehensively understand the star formation we have to study the involved physical and chemical processes at different spatial scales. In this talk, I will present some multiwavelength studies done towards galactic star-forming regions, remarking the importance in observing and analyzing processes from parsec to astronomical units spatial scales.
