Observatorio San Calixto presents a probabilistic seismic hazard map for Bolivia (PSHBO) taking into account seismic zones based on epicentral location, our zones includes shallow crustal, intra and inter slab seismicity. The geomorphological context and the stress regime studied by focal mechanism were also included into the new map, eleven seismic zones are defined to be analyzed.

In the last years, the ray coverage in the South American continent has greatly improved thanks to the increasing number of seismographic stations. A major contribution came from the recently installed Brazilian Seismographic Network.

Mid-Neoproterozoic is a period of transition between the supercontinent Rodinia and the amalgamation of Gondwana. An incomplete paleomagnetic database does not allow to constrain the precise paleogeography of this transition. This study concerns the West African craton, which remains the least studied craton in paleomagnetism. We propose a preliminary AMS study before showing the first paleomagnetic results obtained on the Manso dike swarms (~867 Ma). For the first time, in-phase and out-of-phase susceptibility was used to study the anisotropy fabric of dikes.
